Bacterial antigens
Borrelia
Lyme borreliosis is tick-born infectious disease. Pathogens of Lyme borreliosis are bacteria from the group of Borrelia. Pathogenic genotypes are Borrelia garinii, B. afzelii, or B. burgdorferi sensu stricto. For detection of Lyme borreliosis, particularly immunogenic surface antigens such as OspC / OspA or DbpA, as well as VlsE and other proteins (p39, p41, p58, p83 / 100) are used. Most of the diagnostically relevant Borrelia antigens are available as both GST fusion and His-tag.
